Zoombinis Island Odyssey

Box Art :: The game won a New Media award at the Fiere Internazionali di Bologna, a big international educational book fair in Italy. It was one of only three winners selected from over 500 international entries. The judges lauded the 'Funny, original characters...' and 'wonderful graphics.' Zoombiniville :: The player begins his quest in Zoombiniville, where he assembles his team of characters for the journey back to Zoombini Island to rescue the ecosystem there. The village and Zoombinis were designed by Cody Chancellor and built in 3D by BonArt, a contract art house in Bulgaria. Catapult :: One of the first puzzles in the game is Zoombini-launching Catapult, an activity that teaches kids about gear ratios and timing. The Rube Goldberg-like device and the Zoombini characters were designed by Cody Chancellor and built in 3D by BonArt, a contract art house in Bulgaria.

PROJECT: Art directed all assets and cinematics for Riverdeep/The Learning Company's award-winning Zoombinis Island Odyssey educational game.

SOFTWARE: 3D Studio MAX, Photoshop, Premiere

SCOPE: Managed and directed the design and creation of all art assets for the third game in the Zoombinis educational software series.

NOTES: All of my work достопримечательности Адлера at my home office as a contractor to ImaginEngine. Most of the artists were offsite, including a large team in Bulgaria, so I communicated with them via website, email, phone and Instant Messaging.
